Meet the team:

Megan graduated from the University of Brighton with a First Class MSc (Pre-Registration) Podiatry degree.
Megan joined us at the Berkhamsted Foot Clinic in May 2023 having gained a wealth of experience working in Buckinghamshire’s NHS trust, focusing on diabetic foot care and high risk patients.

She is dedicated to treating patients holistically, taking patients’ lifestyles and activities into consideration. Megan will fully assess any new patient’s medical history, including vascular and neurological health prior to commencing any treatment. She enjoys treating a wide range of patients of different ages managing anything from verrucas to routine foot and nail care.

In her spare time, Megan is a keen badminton player and cat enthusiast.

Myriam Tchuimeni Fodjo. Podiatrist, BSc (Hons), MChS. HCPC Registered
(Associate) Myriam graduated from Northampton University in 2005 and holds a BSc (Honours) degree in Podiatric Medicine with license to administer local anaesthesia and Prescription Only Medicine (POM). As an insured Member of the Society of Chiropodists and Podiatrists and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC CH23245), Myriam undertakes frequent ongoing continual professional development to keep in line with current medical practice.Myriam joined Berkhamsted Foot Clinic in 2019 and previous to this has worked as an experienced senior Podiatrist with Milton Keynes and Bedford NHS having gained a wealth of experience in all areas of Podiatry,  with a specific interest in high risk clinics caring for patients with neuro vascular disease, immune suppressive disease (Diabetes, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriasis),  Lower limb biomechanical disorders prescribing and fitting orthoses and nail surgery.
Dr. Anand DPM (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine)
Dr. Anand received her DPM (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) degree at Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia, with honours. Upon graduation, she completed three years of surgical training with Harvard University in Boston. There, she received a wide range of training, mainly focusing on diabetic limb salvage, sports medicine, forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery. During her training, Dr Anand was an appointed Clinical Fellow in Surgery and in her final year, Dr. Anand served as Chief Resident.

In her spare time, she has also volunteered her time abroad attending a mission trip to Honduras. This trip focused primarily on treating children with congenital deformities and performing reconstructive surgeries.

Dr. Anand holds professional memberships with the HCPC (The Health and Care Professions Council) and The Royal College of Podiatry. She has POM-A and POM-S annotations with the HCPC. She is able to perform nail surgeries within clinic.

She is currently not performing surgery within the UK but is conducting consultations with patients for any foot pathology ranging from diabetic foot evaluations, sports medicine, routine foot care and any musculoskeletal, dermatologic or neurologic foot conditions.

About Berkhamsted Foot Clinic

In 2011, Debbie Herd, a qualified Podiatrist (Chiropodist), founded the Berkhamsted Foot Clinic with a mission to promote positive foot health. Her goal was to provide a wide range of professional services to individuals experiencing lower limb and foot health issues, especially those who are at risk of damage or infection due to medical conditions or medication use.

Our team of trained professionals is dedicated to assessing, diagnosing, and treating various lower limb conditions, including Diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, nail surgery, and mechanical injuries. We aim to involve our clients in their care, keeping them informed throughout their treatment, and providing aftercare advice to minimize foot problems. All of our Podiatrists are registered with the Health & Care Professions Council.

Directions

The clinic is located in Dower Mews, just behind 108 High Street. You will find Dower Mews access diagonally opposite the Gatsby, between the Mad Squirrel Brewery shop and Dower House (light green building). Drive into Dower Mews to the end of the road and turn left, park in either parking bay where you see the green Foot Clinic private parking signs at the front of the building.  Press the foot clinic button by the door to gain access.
